Mole & Skin Tag Removal Cardiff

You have the choice of two methods of removal for these types of concerns such as Sterex Electrolysis (Thermolysis) which is a  heat treatment and our NEW Cryopen™ which is a freezing method of treatment.

SKIN TAG REMOVAL

Skin tags are made of loose collagen fibres and blood vessels surrounded by skin. Collagen is a type of protein found throughout the body, and are small, soft, skin-coloured growths on your skin. They can vary in colour and size – from a few millimetres up to 5cm wide.

Most common areas these can be found on the body and face are the neck, armpits, around the groin, or under the breasts. They can also grow on the eyelids or under the folds of the buttocks.

They can look like warts, but skin tags are usually:

  • Smooth and soft (warts tend to be rougher with an irregular surface)
  • Knobbly and hang off the skin (warts are usually slightly raised or flat)
  • Not contagious (warts spread very easily, so a sudden outbreak or cluster of growths is more likely to be warts)
  • These are harmless but can get bigger if left untreated.

We offer Thermolysis treatment which cauterizes the area and is a quick, easy and effective method of skin tag removal and is safe to use in all areas – even between eyelashes. This results in immediate removal of the tag and can take only seconds depending on the size.

May need a medical note from your GP, to ensure the area has been checked over and diagnosed as benign, as some moles are skin coloured and can look like a skin tag.

Price start from £120 per treatment*

You will be expected to return to the clinic 4 weeks after your first treatment for a review, and if we believe you may need further treatment, you will be offered the chance to have it the same day.
